In addition to Paul Krugman, there are other people out there with a strategic perspective on our economic situation and a capacity to explain it in clear, realistic, interesting, and non-blameful language. I listened to two of them this morning on Meet the Press: Alex Blumberg and Adam Davidson, hosts of NPR’s “Planet Money.” Their Peabody award winning program A Giant Pool of Money— available for downloading— is a must for anyone who cares about how we actually got here, rather than who can we blame.
