A Great Sentence?

While stretched out on paper like a seductive woman on a sunny beach, a great sentence is a lifeless sequence of rhetorical DNA; but crafted to attract the eye with lush ripe words, titillate the ear with subtle rhythms, infect the mind, usurp reflection, insert its genes and spring to life in its fevered host: like a potent virus.
